"Zen Parable"
By Avery Wesson
One day, a man came to the temple to speak to the Zen Master. “I need advice, Master. No matter what I do, everyone seems displeased with my work. They say that I need to do it over and they try to make me change what I already did. But I don’t need to change, my work is just fine. How do I stop them?”
The Zen Master chuckled, “If you don’t listen to those who wish to help you, then why have you come to ignore me?”

In some odd universe, destiny has arranged the meeting of a jellyfish and a celery stick.
“Hey, name’s Jelly,” spoke the jellyfish.
“Hi, I am Celery Stick,” replied the tasteless nutrient.
After engaging in long, friendly conversation, the two came to find out that they were both composed of approximately 95% water.
“Wow, that’s amazing! I must shake your hand!” said the young jelly, and without thinking, the celery stick touched Jelly’s tentacle and was consequently electrocuted to death.
Moral: Some differences are too hazardous to overlook, despite evident similarities.
