​Beatrice (Alma) Njeri lives in Nairobi, Kenya and has been a SMDCard member from its earliest days. She is active in the network and was a winner in the 2023 SMDCard Photo Contest and received Honorable Mention in the 2022 SMDC Writing Contest. We're so inspired by her tireless efforts to advocate for her daughter, who's had serious lifelong health issues. We wish them both all good things in this new year.
